Necromancer

I haven't done any real updates for a long time. I have been painting a lot, but the thing is, light situation in Finland during winter is terrible which doesn't help my already bad photos at all. I really want to get some kind of lightbox done and purchase some daylight lamps before I start to update the blog regularly.

My painting has been improving (a little) and the sad photos don't do it justice. For example, I tried my hand on wet blending here which was rather succesfull, but is not translated through this bad photo. No extenders, retarders and such - just plain water. It works very well, but one has to be fast. The results were very promising. The dark and light areas in the red are not caused by bad lightning - they are painted in.

Kamaels and Clipsos

I just discovered something very clever about painting. I spent several days on the left Kamael and the Clipsos..  I spent few hours on the middle one! Amazing feeling. They're tabletop quality all, but at least I'm not spending so much time on them.

Pureblood Warpwolf, Stone Keeper & Shifting Stones

I did a head-swap for my earlier Feral Warpwolf and painted the runes red to match the rest of my force. I like Pureblood much more as a model, idea and a tactical game piece. Feral is becoming a lack-luster in some ways as the new Riphorn Satyr is superior in many situations and costs the same. On the other hand, Stalker and Pureblood offer more flexibility and utility. Also did a 2nd Shifting Stones unit.
