Classic Feral Warpwolf

I had this metallic Feral Warpwolf lying around, and decided to finish it for fun. Didn't stress too much about the result. Quick n' not-so-easy. These large base pewter Privateer Press models are rather annoying to paint, because their surface isn't that smooth so a lot of sanding or puttying would have been needed to make everything perfect, and they weigh a ton so finding a good position to paint is sometimes tricky.

Lot of things to fix and paint still, but I lost my motivation with this one near completion of the project. However, I learned something "big" again, so it's not a total waste.. everytime one learns something while painting it means painting was worth it! Too bad the ruined miniatures..

Malifaux Salvage and Logistics unboxing

I went to Sweden for a visit and bought something really nice for myself called 'Salvage and Logistics'. It is a "starter" box set for Wyrd's Malifaux miniatures game. One of the best miniature purchases I have ever made! I have no idea if the game is any good (I heard it is!), but the quality and sculpting of the miniatures is top level. I really like the flavor and character of Wyrd's miniatures. I also bought some pre-owned Resurrectionists, but they are older metal minis. They're still very nice too, but I wanted to show you this Outcasts Leveticus box in particular.

Actually my Malifaux purchases are long overdue, as I've been drooling over the minis for a year now.

 Back cover has the contents. No pictures from the painted minis though, which I find a bit odd.

The box contents are simple and to the point. Sprue, some note cards and bases.

The detail and casting quality are amazing, unlike my photographs.

I'm so happy I bought this. The models are tiny, but looks like they're very well done. Nothing turns me on like a fantastically casted plastic.

AB Booth

Used, 55€. A bit overpriced, but I absolutely needed this.

Heavy Flamer

Two more cultists and my gang is ready. Hopefully I can manage to complete one of them today. This one is still a bit WIP. Maybe a freehand on the flamer hose or just a simple highlight? Gloss varnish? I don't know yet.

Mordheim Witch Hunters

I tried out Necromunda and it was such fun that I thought I needed a Mordheim project on my hands also.

I got some Witch Hunters yesterday. Few missing parts, but I count 7 complete miniatures! Let's see what I do with these.. if anything :D I'm so swamped with projects. Have to complete my Necromunda gang first and foremost and then change a faction (again) in Warmachine/Hordes, as I sold most of my Cryx (again)..

So much scratches

I'm doing too much scratches and broken lines. Necromunda prototype.

Malice repaint

So sad I settled for my Cryx theme after painting so many figures. I should've figure out this color scheme much earlier..

Oh well. Heavy WIP.

Paints off

(Old) Fairy Power Spray rocks! The smell is terrible, but at least stripping paints off metal minis is a breeze.

New brushes!

New brushes arrived! Yay :) Never tried these Isabey brushes. I hope they're good, as I need something cheaper to go through than Raphael 8404's.

As you might've guessed from my previous post, I go through brushes rather quick. Now  I just need to get something primed to test these babies out :).

No real updates for a long time, so here's one.

I still don't have a proper photo-setup. I still am painting a ton. I really don't know when I will manage to get a decent photo-setup, but not anytime soon. I have other priorities time and money-wise.

These are gaming miniatures, nothing fancy, but I still feel my painting is slowly improving. I can't bear to watch some of the stuff I painted a year ago.

Selling stuff again

I hate to keep my closets full, so I tend to sell models I've painted
